I was driving home the other day and heard a commercial on that radio promising to abolish those dark circles under your eyes. Best of all the cream and the trial period were free. That’s it, free, nothing else about processing, shipping or handling. So I called. As always my gut never lies to me. I was greeted by this gentleman that was more than excited to do his job, and was probably starting to peak from the fifty energy drinks that he sucked down earlier in the day.
He immediately sold me on their product and how great of a deal it was. He led me up this mountain of excitement, only to push me off the side when he informed me that it wasn’t really free, because I had to pay the thirty bucks for shipping. This was a tube of cream, where were they shipping it from? I was taken back and told him I didn’t have the money right now. He asked for a credit card, which I stated I didn’t have. Then he took it to a level that I have only seen bill collectors go, he asked if there were any family members he could talk to and have them pay for it. I couldn’t believe this was for real, or that any one would fall for that. Needless to say, I hung up and still wonder if that cream would have really worked.
