Sleeping Pills That Improve The Quality Of Sleep - August 10th, 2010

There are a number of sleeping pills available, and to a larger degree, we have come to the conclusion that you cannot get sleeping pills without complications. You cannot get sleeping pills that won’t cause side effects or leave you feeling tired in the morning. We seem to believe that if it works, it will cause addiction and other side effects in the morning. In other words, there are a number of things you simply cannot avoid. But the question is, how do you find sleeping pills that actually improve the overall quality of your sleep rather than seeming to take away from it?

There are plenty of sleeping pills out there, all claiming to give you potentially amazing results. But unfortunately, most of them don’t actually work! With most sleeping pills, you will find that there is bound to be some kind of drawback. But with the way the market has turned, that is not true anymore.

They have created more natural combinations, and with these sleeping pills, many are finding that there is no risk of dependency or other side effects. When you use the right sleeping pills, you will improve the quality of your sleep obviously. But you will also improve the overall quality of your life. The difference is that when you use natural sleeping pills, they can help you to improve the overall quality of your sleep rather than taking away from it, allowing you to wake up refreshed and feeling how you are supposed to.

How To Improve Prostate Health - February 22nd, 2010

Prostate health is obviously elemental in overall health for men. But it’s also extremely important and even essential for sexual health and performance. This being said, obviously you want to prevent future problems. It doesn’t work every time. But it’s worth a try. So do products for sexual health such as Zencore actually work? Do they actually give you any results at all?

This being said, there are plenty of things you can do and should be doing when young and as you age alike. Prevention is often the key with things like prostate cancer, impotence, and otherwise. SO how do you actually help yourself out? Well, while products like Zencore can ideally help, you should really take a whole life healthy approach.

For one thing, you can exercise regularly and eat more fruits and vegetables. Clogged arteries can mean clogged other parts, and therefore reduced natural blood flow. This being said, this can lead to weaker erections, heart disease, and prostate problems alike. Therefore, a healthy diet and exercise program is absolutely essential for success. Caffeine, which is found in products like Zencore can also help. But the idea is to do what you can otherwise. Don’t rely on some miraculous pill.

This being said, also manage stress levels. Studies have actually been conducted at this particular point in time that show that stress can lead to cell damage and therefore give you problems. Unfortunately, Zencore does not actually do this. But supplements like Zencore come in with supplementation. There are certain ingredients that every male should supplement into their diet In order to maintain greater prostate health.

However, a product that does actually have these ingredients and otherwise is known as Orexis. Orexis has all the right ingredients, it has the right amounts, and all in all, Orexis will actually show results.

Risks With Eye Creams - September 19th, 2009

When I was a freshman in college I was kind of having a hard time trying to do well in my classes, work to pay my way through college, keep making as many friends as I could (somehow that was a big priority and now I don’t even know why) and stay in touch with all of the new friends I had made. While trying to joggle all of these things in my new schedule I hardly left any time for things like sleep and rest.

After a while I started noticing that I always had really big and ugly dark bags under my eyes and no matter how much cover up and foundation I put under my eyes you could still easily see those dark bags, which, I was convinced, made me look horrible. Then ,one day I went to the mall with a roommate who had scheduled a free make up session with someone there and while I was waiting for her session to be over I started talking to one of the make-up sales girls who told me that they had a magical eye cream that would eliminate the ugly dark bags from under my eyes.

Of course I eagerly purchased the cream, which cost me quite a bit of money, but somehow the bags never left my eyes no matter how much eye ream I seemed to use.  Conclusion: to get rid of dark bags under your eyes choose sleep over eye cream!

Do Sunglasses Prevent Wrinkles? - September 19th, 2009

I have always hated wearing sun glasses, ever since I was a little girl. My friends would always try on their parents’ sun glasses and when we got a little older my best friend would always drag me around stores and kiosks where they sold sun glasses and would seriously stay there, it seemed like, for hours while she tried to pick at first what best fit her face, then what best fit her outfit and then in the end it would always come down to choosing the sunglasses that were within the amount of cash she had saved. She always tried to get me to try on a couple of paires, but I was never really that interested.

I figured that I’d never really wear sunglasses and that if the sun was too bright for me to handle I would always just look in a different direction. But after I got my first car my mother said that I had to have a pair of sunglasses in my glove box so that I wouldn’t have to squint while driving when it’s really bright outside. She told me that no matter how much I hate wearing sunglasses, it should not be the price I pay for a bunch of wrinkles around my eyes that would come really fast if I kept squinting all of the time. She promised me that no eye cream in the world would help me look younger once those wrinkles appeared on my face. That’s when I went to a kiosk with sun glasses and bought myself my own very first pair.

Are Wrinkles Genetic? - September 18th, 2009

This summer when I was visiting my grandpa for a couple of days, he opened up a document on the computer where there were hundreds of scanned images (old photos) saved and organized by years and dates of his ancestors – my great grandparents and their parents and their parents’ parents and so forth. It was really cool to look through them with my grandpa as he went into detail about each photo trying to remember what he knew about every one of them.

But then I noticed something on the photos that was a little bit weird – all of my grandpa’s relatives looked incredibly young, even in the pictures with their grandchildren they looked like they could have been the parents, not the next generation. Then when grandpa showed me his photos from the war, and from college I also noticed that he really didn’t look much different in his 40s from when he was in his 20s.

I asked grandpa what his secret was and how he managed to look so young. He told me that I should thank my lucky stars and that there were two things that people in our family have been inheriting for years – one, was good sight (grandpa has never had to wear glasses, nor did any of his siblings, parents, grandparents and so forth) and two – our family has always been known for looking young, which totally started making sense now why people always think that my mom is my older sister. So I say, if you have great young looking skin, call your grandparents and tell them thank you!

Early Skincare - September 18th, 2009

When I think about facial crèmes I think about the Mary Kay inventor lady. I never really was into make up, or facial crèmes or anything like that. Why? I do not know. Seriously, in high school when all of my friends were beginning to use make up and taking care of themselves I was never really interested in exploring that feminine part. My mom has always called me a late bloomer and I think I agree with her on that one. But after I went away to college I had room mates who practically made me wear make up for my dates and made me start using facial crèmes.

So in college I started taking better care of my skin but I never really had a desire to do so, it was always because someone else was telling me to do it and I am the kind of person who likes to go with the flow. But then one day I was watching a show on TV where it talked about famous inventors and Mary Kay lady who started the famous make up company was one of the people the show was about.

I remember thinking that she shouldn’t have been that special, that her make up couldn’t have been that different from others’ on the market. But then they showed a picture of her a couple of days before she died at the age of 85 or something and that’s when I realized that she really deserved to be on that show. At the late age of 80-85 she looked younger than most people in their fifties. It was incredible. Ever since then I started trying to use Mary Kay products, at least night crèmes and rejuvenating crèmes on my skin. I mean come on, looking 30 years younger does sound pretty good, don’t you think?

Skincare Parties - September 17th, 2009

Last year I was invited to my next door neighbor’s slumber party. Some lady there was trying to sell make up and various facial crèmes. I remember being skeptical, at first, about her products. They seemed a little bit pricey and I didn’t think that they would make that big of a difference in my skin. But then the sales lady pulled out some pictures of herself before she started using the products she was selling.

There was definitely a difference between her beautiful, silky, wrinkle free skin then and the photos from before. After looking through those pictures I started to pay a little more attention to what she was saying about taking care of our skin and how we need to pamper it to make it look good and feel good. She talked about the importance of washing our faces at night, before bed, to wash off all the dirt our skin accumulates throughout the day and then she also told us how important it is to wash our faces well in the morning.

She told us that 75% of dirt is over the 24 hour period is on our faces in the morning because overnight while we sleep our skin pushes out all the processed dirt from to the top layer and it is critical for us to wash that dirt off when we wake up. Since then I always wash my face in the morning and I think my skin is doing a lot better.

Does Laughter Prevent Aging? - September 17th, 2009

I once read an article in a magazine that talked about facial wrinkles and how laughter is the biggest wrinkle promoting action. It made me wonder about various celebrities who at forty look better than I do in my twenties and I am not just talking about their physical shape, I am talking about their perfect wrinkle free faces. I know that in magazines, using Photoshop, you could even make my 90-year-old granny’s face look wrinkle free, so I am not talking about that.

I am talking about celebs who show up on talk shows or in movies without any wrinkles, they can’t really digitally remove all of their wrinkles, can they? So it makes me wonder if the celebrities who don’t have any wrinkles on their faces at the age of forty live lives were they do not let themselves laugh as much as they would like because it would cause them to get wrinkles on their faces, which would directly affect their careers. Wouldn’t it be sad, to be hesitant to laugh at a joke or in a movie theater because you are so concerned about getting wrinkles on your face? All of this thinking FINALLY makes me feel good that I am not one of those beautiful, rich, famous celebrities. J

Stress & Aging - September 12th, 2009

One of the other things that can affect how our skin looks and the wrinkles we have is stress.  You have probably seen someone who has come through a stressful experience like illness or the death of a loved one and they look years older.  All of this from the stress of the situation.  We all have stress in our lives.  Sometimes this is expected sometimes this is not.

But when either way there are a few things we can do to help cope with the stress and not let it affect us or our skin as much.  First you need to get enough sleep.  I have mentioned this before.  Second, you need to learn how to relax and take a mental break.  You can do many things that will accomplish this.  You can talk a walk, get a pedicure, take a long lunch and eat slowly, do some yoga, close your eyes and meditate.

Even if you take 10 minutes a day to do one or more of these things you can really help your stress level and therefore help your skin.  When you know you have some deadlines or multiple events coming up, ask for help.  Ask family and friends to assist you.  It might be hard, but your skin will thank you.

Does Sleep Prevent Wrinkles? - September 11th, 2009

You never think about getting older and wrinkles until you are there.  If we took better care of our skin when we are younger we might have better luck with wrinkles as we get older.  Some other things that can take its toll on your skin are sleep and stress.  I think they are two of the things that plague our generation the most.  Most adults do not get enough sleep.  And not only does lack of sleep cause skin issues it can result in death.  That sounds extreme, but lab animals that were subjected to disruptions in their sleep died significantly earlier than those that were not subjected to it.

Also they say that just loosing 30 minutes of sleep can result in 32% less activity during the day.  That is almost one third of your daily activity less for just 30 minutes of sleep.  Plus there are new ads about drowsy drivers.  Sleepy drivers account for over 100,000 automobile accidents a year.  And of those at least 1,550 fatalities.  That means if you would just rest when you should you could have less wrinkles, better daily activity and less likely to get in an accident.  All that for 30 minutes more of sleep.
